A limited budget of sponsored funds is available to help with travel expenses for Indigenous attendees attending on behalf or representing their nation or community. Due to a limited budget, we have to limit the travel subsidy to only travel and accommodation expenses (i.e. no per diems) and 1 or 2 individuals from each First Nation communities in BC. We have budget limitations for each eligible individual with priority given to remote communities. A reimbursement submission form will be emailed post-conference and the deadline to submit it will be July 12. Funds will be dispensed shortly after July 12th.
Qualification for travel support for Indigenous attendees
During Eventbrite registration, attendees selecting the Indigenous conference ticket will be asked if you are requesting travel support. A travel expense submission form will be emailed post-conference to those requesting support.
