Network Lead, Fraser Basin Council Society

Darell Gaddie MBA is the Network Lead for the Energy Peers in Indigenous Communities (EPIC) program through the Fraser Basin Council Society. Darell is Cree/Saulteaux originally from Cowessess First Nation in southern Saskatchewan.  Darell has worked with Indigenous communities in BC and Western Canada for over 25 years in various educational and administrative capacities. 

The EPIC program provides capacity building support funding for up to eight (8) Indigenous communities in BC to advance their goals on renewable energy through their Community Energy Champions. 

 The program is intended to build capacity for small-scale (under 100 kW) renewable energy projects to communities that are connected to the North American electrical grid. 

The EPIC program has been successful in its’ first launch on December 8th , 2022.  We are at or near capacity at the time of printing.
