Dana Cornea is an experienced regulator having spent close to 20 years working for the National Energy Board, now the Canada Energy Regulator. She has a background in economics and accounting as well as regulatory policy. In 2018, Dana switched gears and began working to establish a framework for the regulator’s strategic priority on Reconciliation with Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. Dana is currently on an Interchange agreement with Natural Resources Canada as the Director of Regulatory Coordination and Industry Engagement to explore opportunities for regulatory and permitting efficiencies to advance clean growth to meet net-zero goals.
